Scholar Ahead is the most comprehensive and free online educational opportunity platform with over 1,000 K-12 summer enrichment programs, internships, and research opportunities.  With Scholar Ahead, students are easily able to filter and search for opportunities by their unique interests, location, grade level, and more.

“There are millions of students in our country who could benefit from an out-of-school program, but either don’t know what programs exist, or simply don’t know how to find them,” says founder of Scholar Ahead, Madelyn Tavarez.  “The existing way to find programs is quite tedious, inefficient, and manual, as it is an extremely fragmented market.”

“We’ve built this resource to support students across the country with their summer learning, as many camps and programs have been cancelled due to COVID-19,” Tavarez continues.  “While this is unfortunate to say the least, the good news is many institutions and organizations have figured out how to transition their programs to an online format and increase their programs’ capacity.  Through these programs, students will continue to learn, play, and grow over the summer while exploring their interests – all from the comfort of their own homes.”
