Diabetesknow.com Launches Online A1c Tool, Offering People with Diabetes the Knowledge to Stay Healthy
Diabetes expert offers accurate A1c Calculator Tool to navigate diabetes treatment, lifestyle and options

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – March 7, 2024 – DiabetesKnow.com launched its new online tool today, offering a complementary A1c calculator tool for people diagnosed with Diabetes 1 or Diabetes 2. The calculator is also helpful for “pre-diabetic” people who struggle with high blood sugar. The tool calculates a diabetes patient’s average blood glucose level result after inputting their latest A1c test level. The calculator will also provide the A1c result after inputting average daily blood sugar levels, which are found in the personal history data stored on the glucometer.

“I have type 1 diabetes and use an insulin pump therapy for my treatment,” said founder Ken Gri. “For patients just getting started with treatment or who have been struggling with their diagnosis, the complementary A1c calculator tool can be extremely helpful.”

Gri explained, “I am not a medical professional and don’t claim to be. However, on DiabetesKnow.com, you will find accurate nutritional information along with my real-life diabetic experiences with sports, exercise workouts and low-carb and keto diets.” Gri has been living with type 1 diabetes for more than 25 years. He has accumulated a great deal of real-life day-to-day knowledge about diabetes and everything that comes with it.

The site offers other free, helpful tools for diabetics including a BMI calculator, calorie calculator and Keto diet calculator that can help with borderline high sugar and high cholesterol issues. The site also publishes informative articles and advice on diabetes management options, such as fitness and exercise programs, the best diets and nutrition choices, along with diabetes research news.

“My goal in life is to be cured of diabetes,” Gri added. “However, since there is currently no cure, I thought I would do the next best thing and provide helpful information on the site for people who are uninformed or newly diagnosed with diabetes.”
