Company founders Albin Berglund and Marie Soliman are stepping away from the typical luxury design palettes and are turned to create something truly tailored and unique for every client –– from residentials, hotels to the ever-luxurious superyacht designs.

London design firm Bergman Interiors continues to make waves globally by delivering notable projects and a signature design process that redefines the world of luxury interiors and architectural designs.

With more than 25 years of combined experience, company founders Marie Soliman and Albin Berglund have ramped up efforts to innovate the usually staid world of luxury interiors and architectural design.

From hotel designs, wellness to residential and superyacht designs, the firm is bent on breaking the mould by designing something surprising and functional.

“Our approach is forward-thinking and reads like an embellished story with elements that dictate a unique history and space. We listen carefully to the brief and then combine it with our research to create a strong, well-thought-through concept. The design is then woven around this core touchpoint, and the story never repeats as each client and project is different,” explains Marie.

Albin and Marie have stepped away from the typical luxury design palettes and turned to create something personal and bespoke for every client.

Bergman Interiors was, in fact, the firm behind the seven-star hotel project in the Norwegian islands, showcasing some spellbinding views of the Northern Lights with its remote location.

The company utilized fancy but functional materials from Norway alongside the hotel’s architectural design for the canvas.

Marie Soliman says the overall theme of the design process was carving out spaces that are memorable and bold but at the same time ambient and cozy.

Natural textures and material finishes were central elements of the design, as Bergman Interiors pushed to capture the client’s great pride in his culture.

Carvings of ancient Norwegian crafts also took centre stage in the art details. The property takes on a cosmopolitan residential design vibe, with lodge villas decorated with timber heritage panelling and some curated art pieces.

Bergman Interiors has also taken luxury interior and architectural design to the next level by coming up with superyacht designs at Njord by Bergman — bringing innovative designs for the world’s most impressive vessels.

In an Instagram post, the award-winning firm has recently featured the behind-the-scene journey of designing the 83m superyacht “Eden.”

Albin Berglund says the ocean generously inspired the vision to bestow great delight, happiness and contented bliss for the most beautiful floating home.

Albin stressed that the Bergman team has consistently set its eyes on making clients feel excited, which means they take the time to find the things that clients have never seen before.

Bergman Interiors chose the Namre Njord for launching their superyacht department,  takes its name from the Norse god of wind and waters. For the last 25 years, Marie and Albin have built up an enviable portfolio of projects, spanning from London,Norway, Paris to St. Petersburg to Dubai Qatar and New York.

The two are working globally with some of the most enviable clients and brands in the hospitality and residential sectors, with an equally impressive team supporting them.
