Tonya Raymond Shows Abused Women How to Access Divine Solace with Latest Work, ‘Dear God’s Daughter’
October 5, 2020 – In her book, “Dear God’s Daughter: Words of True Love When False Love Fails”, Tonya Raymond aims to help vulnerable women who have been in abusive relationships by showing a different perspective when it comes to healing. Raymond’s approach is to bring help and solace by encouraging women to see themselves through the lens of Jesus Christ, a more positive and loving approach than excessive self-criticism. The release of the book is timely as it comes during the Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM) observed in October.
In “Dear God’s Daughter”, the author shares how she healed from a toxic relationship. She explains how she would write to Jesus with the hope that he would provide her with an answer to escape her gut-wrenching emotions. She takes care, however, to ensure that her description does not stymie the intimate journey that a reader would have with Jesus while following her approach.
Raymond shows a positive and firm direction for women as domestic abuse cases continue to rise due to Covid-19 lockdowns and for Black women as they continue to be left unprotected when sharing their truth.
Raymond’s approach to rebuilding a bruised or broken life is based on discovering one’s self-worth and purpose. The Canadian writer feels that one should strive to get oneself the best possible life, as God intended for each one of us. The advice she gives in her book is based on her own experiences in life after she had to endure the pain and panic of rejection.
“Dear God’s Daughter” will help the reader to identify an unhealthy relationship; act based on self-love, self-acceptance, and forgiveness; heal emotionally and physically from the effects of a toxic relationship and build confidence and poise. Above all, it will leave the reader never questioning God’s love.
