The Georgia-based performing arts studio has been helping to develop aspiring performing artists since 2003. Students are prepared for success inside and outside the studio with skills, confidence, and mentorship from industry professionals.

Heather Wayne’s Performing Arts facility provides learning and developing opportunities in a range of performing arts disciplines. The new season of fall classes will be beginning on August 10, 2020. Prospective and returning students are invited to check out instructional modules in Dance, Performing, and Acting/Theater. There are two training locations in Braselton and Gainesville, GA. Each of the studios is state-of-the-art. A variety of classes suitable for children as young as 2.5 years, up to 18 years of age, are presented at various levels of abilities and experience.

As a community service component to its offerings, Heather Wayne’s Performing Arts offers a high-quality after-school care program designed for children of elementary school age. The one-of-a-kind curriculum is the Fine Arts Bus Kids or F.A.B. Kids program. It is focused on providing each child with tools leading to educational success. Enrollees take part in active pursuits such as creative play, dance, tumbling, and crafts. The program also designates time for snacks and homework completion.

The dance training encompasses classes in Classical Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, and Jazz, as well as combination classes in Musical Theater and Creative Movement. In addition to the dance classes, children may enroll in acting or tumbling classes or for some of the unique and fun children’s programs. At some levels, there are competitive dance teams, as well as programs that perform in the Year-End Theatrical Performance.

The school hosts its own Blackbox Theater, designed for the acting and theater team. This team captured an award-winning title at the National Theater Fest. They also have turned in outstanding and creative productions for plays and musical performances.

The school proudly offers Master Classes for students who may be considering a professional career in dance or other performing arts fields. The Master level classes are conducted by industry professionals and provide insight, skills, and understanding of the world of dance.
