Cambridge, Massachusetts – June 19, 2020 – After landing a summer internship at a Boston Search Fund as a Private Equity Analyst, Jacob Khan applied for the SVMP program at HBS however, due to COVID-19, HBS transferred it to be a Virtual Management program for 2020.  COVID-19 has affected the learning experience and Khan was impressed by how Harvard Business School was able to adapt an on campus residence program to online within two months.

While in this program, Khan gained deep insight into leadership and management.  One of the most remarkable experiences for Khan was the LeBron James case study in which he was able to explore the various compensation structures in how a deal can be made.  Khan also enjoyed the cold calling experience and felt he gained knowledge about how decisions can be made given limited information.

Khan was so struck by this program that he subsequently joined the Harvard Business School Association of Boston as a student member to further his learning and engagement with management and leadership.  Khan has been an active member of the Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs and in past co-chaired the monthly meetings for the Harvard Club of Boston’s Entrepreneurs round table Special Interest Group.

Jacob Khan is an A.L.B. Candidate at Harvard University studying Business Administration & Management in Extension Studies class of 2021.  Jacob has an interest in leadership and management and is spending his summer interning at a search fund as a Private Equity Analyst.  During the regular semester Jacob Khan works as a Equity Research Analyst at Harvard Business School for an MBA Professor of Finance.  Last semester Jacob was a Senior Investment Research Analyst at the Harvard Financial Analyst Club.
