June 15, 2020 – David Ebrahimzadeh, President of Corniche Capital, started the David Ebrahimzadeh Scholarship to recognize those students who are seeking a degree in real estate or have a passion for real estate. Ebrahimzadeh created Corniche Capital with the goal of pursuing opportunities in the real estate and private equity sectors. The purpose of this scholarship has a similar goal, by extending an opportunity to those who are seeking to continue their education.

The $1,000 scholarship is available to current students who are pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies. High school seniors who have been accepted to a college or university are also eligible.

Ebrahimzadeh especially wants to encourage students to pursue careers in real estate. To be considered for the scholarship, students must write a 500-word essay answering the question “When it comes to real estate, what excites you about the future?” This essay will allow students to express their hopes for their future careers and explain how they plan to enter the world of real estate. This will help students formalize their plans for higher education and how they want to move into the working world after graduation.

Ebrahimzadeh founded the scholarship because he saw a need in the community for higher education funding. By offering the scholarship, he hopes to reduce the stress and anxiety felt by today’s students as they save for college.

The deadline to apply for the scholarship is March 1, 2021. Upon notification, the winner will have two weeks to respond. Visit the scholarship website to apply.
