Introducing Small Biz Heroes: a Global Community Connecting Small Businesses in Need with “Heroes” who Help for Free
San Francisco, CA – Small Biz Heroes, a global, virtual community created to connect small businesses impacted by COVID-19 with “heroes” who can help them for free, is pleased to announce that its new web platform will be launched within the next few weeks at smallbizheroes.co.
Currently operating on Instagram, the project is attracting global attention with thousands of interested followers. Created in response to the 2019 global health crisis caused by COVID-19, Small Biz Heroes recognizes that small businesses around the globe are at risk of permanently shutting down within a few months. The new platform will address the problem by connecting a “small biz” that requires support with skilled professionals who are willing to provide their specified services for free.
“Now, more than ever, we must come together as a global community to help small businesses in need,” says Small Biz Heroes founder Brandon Youra. “We only started the movement seven weeks ago, but have already had a massive response from small business owners and professionals who are ready to help. I’m hoping we’ll be able to help many businesses to not only survive, but thrive.”
In an effort to raise funds for the platform, Youra has launched the Hero Store, where visitors can purchase “Hero” items such as hats, masks, and shirts. All profits will go towards necessary costs to get the web platform launched by June.
“Your support will help prevent small businesses from shutting their doors and people losing their livelihoods,” adds Youra. “Anything you can do to help would be much appreciated.”
