Prevention and control of epidemic + Resume production, NHU is on the way
With the outbreak of COVID-19, many enterprises have to suspend production activities temporarily to avoid public gathering which is believed will aggravate community spread risk, and that will further stagnate China’s already slowing down economic development. In response, NHU actively shouldered their responsibility by responding to the call of the government to prevent and control the epidemic while at the same time, resume production.
Up to February 19, all manufacturing bases and business units of NHU have resumed normal production in an orderly manner. In Xinchang production area of nutrition business unit, in order to ensure the safe resumption of production and the prevention and control of epidemic, a leading group and 11 epidemic prevention working groups were set up, formulated the implementation plan for the resumption of work and epidemic prevention and control work, and comprehensively implemented the epidemic prevention and control management system.
While in Heilongjiang base, various management measures were introduced and adopted like centralized and closed management system, further standardizing the dining, accommodation and commuting, vehicle management and control, commercial vehicles, etc., to ensure the implementation of epidemic prevention. While along with all those prevention measures came another problem, low efficiency. Poor transportation, shortage of personnel, difficulty in material procurement, all these obstacles slowed down the resumption but could not held back our persistence towards success.
In terms of personnel management and control, NHU staffs were requested to wearing masks, taking temperature and avoid gathering, and record every entry into office building from outside.
Luckily, the epidemic situation is gradually improving, but the overall recovery still needs a process. NHU is taking its own social responsibility, trying its best to resuming operation while at the same time protect its employees as much as possible. Let’s work together to get out of the dilemma and look forward to a better tomorrow!
