International Payment Solutions waves off charges for its customers during the COVID-19 pandemic

COVID-19 pandemic has not only taken thousands of lives across the world but also put the world on a halt, causing a major loss to businesses, some of which are struggling hard to pay their mortgages and bills. Mani Rahmana, the founder of International Payment Solutions talks more about this step and how it will help its clients.

Interviewer: What inspired you to start International Payment Solutions?

Mani Rahmana: After working in multi-level corporations including some in the merchant processing industry, I realized that there were some shortcomings in the conventional payment solutions. Furthermore, I always wanted to do something big and make an impact through solutions that help small business owners. This led me to start International Payment Solutions, to not only provide payment solutions to the business owners but also other services that allow them to grow and expand further.

Interviewer: Tell us about your Virtual Terminal service and the kind of businesses it is suitable for?

Mani Rahmana: Our virtual terminal is a web-based version of a credit card terminal, so our customers can accept payments from anywhere virtually.

Interviewer: How is your recent gesture going to help your clients?

Mani Rahmana: These are crucial times we are living in. The COVID-19 pandemic has claimed not just lives but the livelihood of many around the world. The businesses are struggling to pay mortgages and manage their regular expenses, without any source of cash inflow. Considering the current scenario, our board of directors organized a meeting and decided that we will freeze the accounts of our clients for the next two months, to lift away some burden from their heads. We want to prove to our customers that we are a business with a purpose and we truly care for them.

Interviewer: How are you handling the impact of COVID-19 on your business?

Mani Rahmana: Just like many other businesses, ours has suffered the effects of lockdown as well. Though we can’t control external factors like these and only hope for better times, what we can do is to control internal factors, like using this time to build customer relationships, brainstorming ideas, growing our knowledge and planning for sustainable growth once we are out of this situation. I’m sure our company will come out better and stronger than ever from this crisis.
